TEMPO.CO, JakartaE-commerce platform Lazada Group on Friday, July 12, announced Chun Li as the new CEO of Lazada Indonesia. Pierre Poignant, CEO of Lazada Group, said Chun Li's appointment was part of growth momentum and is aimed at strengthening Lazada's commitment in Indonesia.

"With extensive experience in leading teams and understanding the deep technological landscape of fast-growing e-Commerce companies, we believe Chun Li is the right person to lead our business in Indonesia in a new round of Lazada's growth and contribution in the country," Poignant said in a press release.

Chun Li will lead Lazada's development and growth of strategies in Indonesia while continuing to carry out its role in the region as co-president of Lazada Group.

Chun Li said that Lazada has evolved from being a shopping platform to an e-commerce and lifestyle destination ceiling that accelerates progress for consumers, sellers and brand-owners in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian region.

"I am very enthusiastic to lead the new chapter of Lazada's growth journey in a transformative moment in the digital economy era in Indonesia," he said.
